Kenneth R. Heyl was born in Jackson, Mississippi in 1946 while his father, Leo, served as a flight instructor with The Army Air Corps. He has been a resident of the Ashland Area since 1947 when his parents, Leo and Ada, moved back to Ashland after World War II ended. He graduated from Ashland High School in 1965, attended Ashland College and Graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary in 1968 and is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. After 37 years of service Ken has retired. He enjoys traveling and his hobbies. Ken still helps at the funeral home when needed. Ken has continued to pass the feelings of personal funeral service on to the present funeral home staff

Tyler Heyl

Tyler Heyl

Owner-President

Tyler S. Heyl was born in Ashland and has been an Ashland resident all of his life. He is a graduate of Ashland High School, attended Ashland University and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1993 with a Bacholors Degree in Mortuary Science. Tyler is the fourth generation of the Heyl family to enter the Funeral Service profession as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. In 1995 Tyler was married to Jennifer and they reside in Ashland with their son Leo. He is a member of Ohio Funeral Directors, National Funeral Directors Association, Trinity Lutheran Church, Ashland Noon Lions, Ashland Masonic Lodge 151, Ashland Elks Lodge 1360 and Ashland Eagles Aerie 2178. 

Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, golf,endurance bicycle racing and playing guitar in his free time. Tyler's warm personality reflects the feelings that have been passed down from his Great-Grandfather, Grandfather and Father.
