My heart is breaking for the Summerton family. I can remember when your family moved in next door. Tony and I hit it off right away and remained friend for well over 40 yrs. I talked to Tony a little over a month ago and the guy never changed. Always laughing, telling a funny story or talking about his bible reading. I will truely miss you buddy and I thank god for letting me have such a great friend. My thoughts are with the family and I also pray god will get your family threw your pain, sadness and loss. I'm so very sorry for your loss!! I missed him doing bus visitation with us this morning. He will truly be missed at the church and on the church bus, he made a real impact on the kids they loved him and looked up to him especially the ones without a dad. He was a true servant of the Lord and a great person to talk and visit with, he was very firm on his spiritual foundation and I am so happy and blessed to have meet and worked with him on the bus. He will be missed by so many people, he was a great friend and wonderful guy. I'm glad God gave me the chance to know and keep him dear to me and my family.

God Bless You All,

Tony was the most loveable, likeable, and caring guy anyone would ever meet. He was always trying to help someone out and put their needs before his own. He was like a giant teddy bear to our daughters and their personal jungle gym. His neices and nephews loved him so much, he was like one of the kids. Tony, you gave our girls so many great memories. You will always be loved and will never be forgotten!

My prayers go out to all the family and friends of Tony. I knew Tony from as far back as elementary school through high school. He was always sweet and a friend to me. I live in Georgia and found out through facebook. Draw comfort from knowing he is rejoicing and praising Jesus as we who know Christ, all look forward to seeing Jesus!

Dear Summerton Family,
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Tony! We just found out about it and are shocked. We have such fond memories of our dear friend. We thought the world of Tony. We grew up as kids together when you lived across the street from us, and later, when we were older and he helped our band set up our equipment when we played at different places. We will keep all of you in our prayers. You have our deepest sympathy!

We were truly shocked and saddened to hear about Tony. The night before the accident, he passed me on the street and we waved. He was a good neighbor, always quiet and polite. I keep looking over at his house, checking to see if his van is in the driveway. Your family is in our prayers. Tony will be missed.
