Thomas Lee Curtis (TLC) passed away at the age of 68 on January 3, 2013

at Oak Grove Manor Nursing Home, Mansfield, Ohio.

He was born October 6, 1944 in West Virginia to parents Everett and Elizabeth

(Donaldson) Curtis.  They both preceded him in death, also a brother Earl, and

niece Bobbi Jo Curtis.  He is survived by one brother Donald (Shirley) of Ashland,

and two sisters, Kathryn (Bill) Gertel of Ashland and Sara (Joe) Hanna of Hollans-

burg.  He is also survived by 4 nieces, 4 nephews, and several grand-nieces and

grand-nephews.

 

Tom was a Specialist 4th Class in the United States Army and served in the

VietNam war.  He had received several credits from colleges in Hawaii and

Mansfield, Ohio. 

 

There will be viewing at Heyl Funeral Home 10 a.m. to 11:00a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013.

A graveside service will be  conducted  by his brother-in-law Pastor Joe Hanna at Trinity

United Methodist Church, Route 89, Ashland, Ohio.

Our Uncle that always showed others what it means to be a friend to all and give what you are able. We will always remember his infectious smile and know you are sending one down from heaven. We Love You!

Dear Kathy and other relatives of Tom. It has been so many years since I have seen Tom but remember him from Polk School. He was always fun to be around. And Kathy, I sure do remember you and hope you are well.
