Constance “Connie” A. Huff- Sponsler age 88, of Ashland, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Good Shepherd skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.  She was born March 8, 1929 in Ashland, the daughter of the late James and Florence (Stauffer) Moller.  Connie was a Homemaker and had been employed with the Quality Auto Center where she was a Secretary.  She was a member of the Nankin Community Church and had been a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.   She was a 20 plus year volunteer for Hospice and also volunteered at University Hospital.  Connie was an active member of the Senior Citizen Center where she was on the Board of Trustees and the Travel Committee. 

Survivors include her sons, Mike Huff of Wooster, Tom (Bambi) Huff of Apple Creek, Randy (Tina) Huff of Ashland, and Sam (Theresa) Huff of Canton; her daughter, Karen (David) Barney of Chillicothe; her 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; along with her brother, James (Janet) Moller of Ashland.  Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Sam Huff; and daughter, Chris Huff -Brown.

Private Graveside services will be held at a later date.

We became friends with Connie through the Senior Citizens Center, and went on many bus trips with her. She was always such a pleasant person and fun to be around. We all miss her. We send our deepest sympathy to you at this hard time. Warm memories of Connie will help you through this sad time.
