Carolee Chance

Carolee Chance age 65, of Ashland, died Thursday November 27, 2008 at the Hospice House. She was born in Lodi on November 10, 1943, the daughter of Albert and Lorna (Holderbaum) Gantz. Mrs. Chance lived most of her life in Ashland where she was a Homemaker.

On October 11, 1960 she married William "Bill" L. Chance Sr. who preceded her in death in 2004. Survivors include her two daughters and sons in-law, Tanya and Alan Peters of Ashland, Shelley and Michael McCartney of Vermillion, and her four sons and daughters in-law, William Loyd Chance Jr. of Ashland, Dennis and Teresa Chance of Ashland, Alex Joseph and Stephanie Chance of Ashland, Matthew Lee and Kelly of Ashland. Also surviving are her fourteen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son Wendal Chance, sister Linda Pryor and brother Jack Gantz.

There will be private family graveside services at Ashland Cemetery.
