Christine E. Kahl

Christine E. Kahl age 62, of Mifflin, died Friday February 18, 2011 at her residence. She was born on October 24, 1948 in Ashland, the daughter of Leo and Patricia (Taylor) Kahl. Christine had lived all of her life in Ashland County. She had been employed with DR Services for 30 years. She enjoyed the outdoors and riding her John Deer tractor. She also loved her family and spending time with them.

Survivors include her sisters, Phyllis and Terry Bowersock of Mifflin, Laurel Kahl (Ron Phillips) of Mifflin; brothers, Leo and Brenda Kahl Jr. of Ashland, Kevin Kahl of Mifflin; nephews, Aaron and Jenny Helbert, Adam and Kristin Kahl, Chad and Casey (LeMasters) Heston, Jacob Kahl; nieces, Nichole and Jeremy Stewart, Ashley and Eddie Stow; 4 great nieces; 4 great nephews; aunts, Carol and Bob Ryland, Virginia and Dick Orewiler, Pam Kahl; along with her uncles, Jim and Mary Sue Taylor, and Gerald Kahl.
She was preceded in death by her parents, niece Amy Helbert and uncle Harvey Kahl.

Friends may visit with the family at Heyl Funeral Home on Thursday February 24, 2011 from 6 to 8:00 P.M. There will be private family services at a later date. The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
