David L. Powell

David L. Powell age 62 of Ashland, passed away at his residence on Sunday August 25,2019.

Born in Ashland on December 9, 1956 the son of Richard L. and Margaret Jean (Franklin) Powell he was a resident of Ashland most of his life and also lived in Lucas.

Mr. Powell  had been an employee of Keen Transport, BBC and Brennstuhl Trucking and he was retired.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Margaret Jean Powell of Ashland; one daughter and son in law, Stephanie (Brian) Martin of Ashland and two sons, David (Erin) Powell of Ashland and Jeffery Powell of Ashland.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren; one sister Susan Wise of Ashland and one brother Keith Powell of Ashland.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and three uncles.

David was a veteran serving his country as a member of the United States Army. He was also a member of Gold Prospectors of Ohio and he enjoyed golf and fishing. He also loved spending time with his dog Merle.

In keeping with David’s wishes a private Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
