Florence Bonetta Winger Pinski age 90, of Ashland, died Monday November 30, 2009 at the Good Shepherd from an extended illness. She was born March 6, 1919 in Madisonburg, Wayne County, Ohio, to Frederick Francis and Gennie Mae (Abbott) Winger. Mrs. Pinski graduated from Ashland High School. She attended Congress Grade and High School. She was a former employee of Eagle Rubber Co. and the Shelby Depot. She was a member of Stone Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lutheran Church Women and Stone Ladies Quilters for several years.
On June 5, 1946 she was married to Lawrence McClure Pinski, who preceded her in death on November10, 2001. She is survived by one daughter, Lois Pinski of Ashland, one sister, Dorothy Winger Hiller formerly of Ashland, and on sister in- law, Eula Newton of Ashland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters; Ida Stout of Danville, Cyrene Mowrey and Isabel Barber of Ashland, Mildred Ritter of Lexington and Elizabeth (Betty) Winger of Congress, two brothers; John Winger, Sr. of Mansfield and Ivan Winger of Ashland.
Services will be held 11 :00 a.m. Saturday December 5, 2009 at the Stone Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Janice Berthinee officiating. Interment will follow at the Miller Cemetery, Ohio 511 South, Ashland. Friends may visit with the family on Friday December 4, 2009 from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Heyl Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service at the church. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Stone Evangelical Lutheran Church, 940 County Road 1754, Ashland, Oho 44805.
