Fred Lutz Obituary

Fred J. Lutz age 82, of Ashland, died Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Hospice of North Central Ohio. He was born June 27, 1931 in Ashland, the son of Fred and Vera (Harper) Lutz. Mr. Lutz had been a resident of Ashland all of his life. He had been a Carpenter for 40 years before retiring from Weithman Brothers Construction. Mr. Lutz was a veteran of the U.S. Navy for his service in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 151, the Valley of Canton, a Life member of the AmVets Post 96, the American Legion Post 88, the V.F.W. Post 1067 and the 40 et 8 800 Ashland.

On September 6, 1952 Fred married Janet (Crandall) Lutz who survives. Also surviving is his son, Mark (Dianna) Lutz of Wooster; along with three grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons; his sister Ellen Mishey; his brothers, Melvin Lutz, Edwin Lutz, and an infant brother.
