Jacqueline "Jackie" U. (Gray) Franklin

Jacqueline (Jackie) U. Franklin, 86, of Mifflin, passed away Tuesday evening August 13, 2019 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. 

Jackie was born November 23, 1932 in Mapleton, Illinois, daughter of Willard and Margaret (Berg) Gray.  She was a resident of Ashland her entire life where she worked at Hydromatic Pump Co. for over 20 years.  Jackie’s true passion was sewing, and she enjoyed creating wedding and prom dresses.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Margaret (Berg) Gray; stepmother, Blanche (Collins) Gray; daughter, Karen Franklin; and her sister Susie McElwain.

Survivors include her son, Mark (Claudia Halle) Franklin of Ashland; her sister, Sally Sellers of Canton; her three grandchildren, Alyssa and Taylor Franklin both of Ashland, along with Shawn Zehner of Ashland.

Funeral services will be held at Heyl Funeral Home on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Don Earlenbaugh officiating.  Burial will follow at Ashland County Memorial Park.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
