Jill L. McVey

Jill L. McVey age 57, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.  She was born January 10, 1961 in Ashland, the daughter of Clifford and Jane (Crawford) McVey.  Jill was a 1979 graduate of Ashland High School and later received her Associate Degree at Bauder School of Design in Atlanta, Georgia.  Jill was the Owner/ Operator of the Wayside Inn in Mifflin for the past 12 years.  She was an avid Harley Davidson Enthusiast. 

Survivors include her son, Kyle McVey of Ashland; mother, Jane McVey of Ashland; brother, Tim (Ann) McVey of Ashland, Oregon; along with her nephews, Andy and Zach McVey.  Jill was preceded in death by her father Clifford in 2002.

Funeral services will be held at Heyl Funeral Home on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Rich Pate officiating.  Burial will follow at Ashland County Memorial Park.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Jill’s memory to the Donor’s choice.
