Nellie Klaffke Obituary

Nellie Marie Klaffke, age 87 of Ashland, OH., passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Hospice of North Central Ohio. On April 17, 1923, in Lawrence, Oklahoma, Mrs. Klaffke was born to the late Esco Michael Chadwick and Mayme Boatwright. She formerly had been a resident and homemaker in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before moving to Ashland in 2006. Mrs. Klaffke had attended the Grace Brethren Church in Ashland.

Mrs. Klaffke is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Jimmy and Dianne Hurt of West Salem, OH.; 1 granddaughter, Dana Lynn (Doug) Shymske; and 2 great-grandsons: Trevor and Tyler Shymske. She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Wanda Wilson.

Services will be held 2:00pm Friday, June 25, 2010, at Heyl Funeral Home, 227 Broad St., Ashland, OH., with Pastor Norm Johnson officiating. Entombment will be at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There will be no calling hours the evening before the service.
