Ollie E. (Kirkpatrick) Keener

Ollie E. Keener age 87, of Mansfield, formerly of Lakeland, FL., passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center.  She was born April 19, 1935 in Ringgold, LA., the daughter of the late Cecil C. and Rether O. (Waites) Kirkpatrick.  Ollie had been employed with Bunch and Associates in Lakeland Florida where she was a payroll manager before retiring in 2010 and relocating to Ohio.  She enjoyed cooking and always looked forward to family events and holidays.  Ollie attended the Salvation Army Church services at the Kroc Center.

Survivors include her sons, Russell Keener Jr. of Ashland, and Charles (Lisa) Keener of Mansfield; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great- great granddaughter; her brothers, Roger Kirkpatrick of Homer, LA., and Glenn Kirkpatrick of Knoxville, TN.; along with her sister in-law, Jane Kirkpatrick of Vivian, LA.

In addition to her parents, Ollie was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Beverly; a brother, Buddy Kirkpatrick and sister, Helen Bates.

Funeral services will be held at the Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold, LA., with burial in Rocky Mount Cemetery in Louisiana.  There will be a memorial service held here locally at a later date.
