Richard Langford Obituary

Richard L. Langford age 72, of Ashland, died Sunday August 11, 2013 at Crystal Care. He was born July 23, 1941 in Glenville, West Virginia, the son of Stanley and Florence (Horner) Langford. Mr. Langford had lived most of his life in Ashland where he was owner and operator of Langford Painting for over 40 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the V.F.W. and the Eagles Club. Richard enjoyed playing Euchar and enjoyed collecting chickens and roosters.

Survivors include his sister, Patsy Harley of Ashland; along with his two brothers, Tim (Linda) Langford of New London, and Kenneth Langford of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.

There will be private family services. Heyl Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions may be directed to the Heyl Funeral Home 227 Broad St. Ashland 44805 to help defray costs.
