Ryan E. Steiner

Ryan E. Steiner, age 39, passed away Monday, September 15, 2008, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, PA. On April 13, 1969, in Ashland, OH., Mr. Steiner was born to Roger and Penny(Ritchey) Steiner. He had been a resident of Ashland all of his life. Mr. Steiner was an avid softball player and bowler. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing pool. Mr. Steiner's memberships include the Ashland Eagles Club and Moose Lodge.

On May 27, 2000, Mr. Steiner married Tamyra Rice who survives. Also surviving are 3 step-sons: Dale (Angie) Webb of Louisiana, Cory Webb and Dustin Webb both of Ashland; 1 step-daughter: Charity Rice of Ashland; mother: Penny Steiner of Ashland; 6 step-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Roxann Steiner and Robin (Gary) Hofer all of Ashland; nieces and nephews: Rachael Steiner, Desiree Hofer, and Nathan Steiner all of Ashland; and a great-niece: Kerstian Steiner of Ashland. Mr. Steiner was preceded by his father, Roger Steiner in 2003; a sister, Rochelle Steiner in 1973; and grandparents, Franklin (Hank) and Alice Steiner.

Services will be held Monday, September 22, 2008, 11:00am at Heyl Funeral Home, 227 Broad St., Ashland, OH., with Reverend Robert R. Bloomquist officiating. An Eagle's Service will be held at 11:00 Monday, just prior to the main service. Friends may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
