Wallace Eugene Lint

 Wallace “Gene” Lint, age 84 of Ashland, Ohio, passed away May 25, 2015 at his residence. The son of Foster Leroy and Helena Alberta (Purdy) Lint he was born February 4, 1931 in Millersburg, Ohio. He had been a resident of Ashland County most of his life working as a laboratory technician with HYDRO-MATIC Pump. Mr. Lint was a member of the Ashland Fraternal Order of Eagles. On April 1, 2003 Mr. Lint married Virginia “Kay” Harris who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Bonnie (Jamie) Chevalier of State Center, Iowa; a brother, Wesley Gordon (Delores) Lint of Loudonville, OH.; sisters: Madeline Virginia Lint of Mt. Vernon, OH., Shirley Diann (Roy) Compton of Florida, Judy Garland (Bill) Miller of Wooster; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Lint Ginther of Wooster, OH. Mr. Lint was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Tommie Lint; and brothers: Kenneth Allen Lint and Ernest Edgar Lint. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Heyl Funeral Home, 227 Broad St., Ashland, OH.
