Helen J. Rogers, age 85 of Ashland passed away Friday June 16, 2017 at Ohio Health Mansfield.

Born in Ashland on July 3, 1931 the daughter of Orman and Madge (Bradon) Sheeks, she was a lifelong resident of Ashland County where she was a homemaker.

On June 17, 1956 Helen married William Rogers who preceded her in death on November 3, 2012.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by daughter, Tina Rogers of Fairview Park Ohio and son Shawn Rogers of Loudonville, Ohio.

Five grandchildren also survive, Austin Cioce and Savannah Cioce both of Fairview Park Ohio; Nathan (Lauren) Rogers of Lodi, Ohio; Corey (Allison) Rogers of Ashland and Michaela (Nathan) Rogers of Lexington Ohio.

One great granddaughter Kinsley Rogers and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her husband William, she is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Nola Savage, Ann Thompson and one brother John M. Sheeks.

In keeping with Helen’s wishes there will be no funeral services and burial will take place at a later date.

Please accept my sincere condolences. My husband Denny Haas, who passed away in 2013 was Helen's nephew. I always admired her great sense of humor. She was a very nice lady.

Dear Tina and Shawn and family

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a great lady, friend, and neighbor.
I see by the picture she still has her mischievous smile. My brother Floyd and my sister Laverne and I will remember her fondly. We pray for your families at this time.
