Ronald C. Bartley age 76 of Ashland, passed away at his residence on May 20, 2018 following an extended illness.

Born in Ashland on November 19, 1941 the son of Joseph C. and Ethel Mae (Goon) Bartley he was an Ashland County resident all of his life.

Mr. Bartley had been employed as a Brick Mason with Local #40.

On November 29, 1968 Ronald was married to Betty Orcutt who survives.

In addition to his wife Betty, Mr. Bartley is also survived by two daughters and their spouses, Tammy Bartley and spouse Beth Koshinski of Morgantown, West Virginia and Candi (Scott) Joseph of Powell, Ohio. Ronald is also survived by two grandsons, Luke Joseph and Noah Joseph.

One brother and one sister also survive, Leroy (Ellen Jo) Bartley of Hudsonville, Michigan and Carol (Gary) Lower of Ashland.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Bartley was a graduating member of Ashland High School Class of 1960. He attended the Park Street Brethren Church and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Bartley enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, International Harvester Tractors and hunting.

Funeral services will be held at the Paradise Hill United Methodist Church, 1491 State Route 603, Ashland, Ohio 44805 at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 25, 2018 with Pastor Layton Broome officiating. Burial will follow in the Sullivan Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday May 24, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Heyl Funeral Home.

Sad to hear of Ron's passing. We want to our love and prayers to all the family. Ron was a wonderful guy and will be missed.
