To Andy's family and those closest to him, I am so very sorry for your loss. That may be a common statement, but it IS very heartfelt. I worked at Ashland Chemical for all the years that Andy was there, up until my retirement early in 2016, and I know that Andy was blessed with a VERY good heart! He was also smart, honest, hardworking, and an all-around good guy. I know that his loss also touches many, many people, far and wide. I am so sorry.

To the family of Andy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I just couldn't believe my eyes when I read about Andy. I retired from Ashland Inc, and even though my later years were located in Dublin, Andy and I remained friends and he helped me with some of my tasks involving raw materials. I always liked Andy and he always put a smile on my face. He will be missed by many, including myself. God be with all of you during this time.

I worked with Andy for several years at Ashland where his positive personality and willingness to pitch in to solve any issue made him an asset to the entire team. I remember how happy he was when he purchased his Harley Wide Glide and started planning a trip to Sturgis. He had a way of infecting everyone around him with his excitement. He will truly be missed. May the Lord bless and comfort you and family during this time of grief.

I realize I never met his family so I apologize for that. I worked with Andy on nearly a daily basis. I also spent time with him outside of work and can honestly say he had a way of making you comfortable and more out going. In my experience, Andy just wanted to make sure everyone he was with was having a good time unless it was work related lol. In that scenario he was loyal to his people and made sure those under or equal or above him weren’t being taken advantage of. Andy to the core was an awesome human being and one that I hope to emulate in my own life. He will be more than missed and loved by so many because of his personality. Andy I love you bud and hope you are at peace.
