I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember Pauline well as she assisted me for many years at First National Bank. She was one of the sweetest women I could ever meet. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My sympathy to Pauline's offspring. She was a good friend and valued fellow employee during my early years at the Times-Gazette. One thing I still remember with a smile, probably from the early 1960s. I worked for a time with a young reporter, Patrick J. McNulty, who had that fine Irish sense of humor. Patrick persisted in calling Pauline "Granny" every time he entered the office. She was indeed a Granny, but she in no way looked or seemed like our preconception of what a grandmother would be like.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. She was such a wonderful lady, and she always made me feel special. I did get to see her about 4 years ago, and we had such a great visit. She will be missed.
