Anthony “Toni” James Harris age 58, of Ashland, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018.  He was born May 17, 1960 in Chippewa Lake, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph and Mabel (Gregg) Harris.  Toni had been a lifelong resident of Ashland.  He was employed with Bartley & Bolin Inc. for the past 11 years; he had previously worked for Headstrom and National Latex.

On October 27, 1984 Toni married Tammy (DeFrancisco) Harris who survives.  Also surviving are his daughter, Tara (Joshua) Stryker of Ashland; sister, Robin Sue Bohland of Bailey Lakes; brother, Jeff Harris of Ashland; several nieces and newphews; along with his dog, Debo.

In addition to his parents Toni was preceded in death by and infant daughter Cara.

Toni loved nature, camping, Halloween and riding his Harley Motorcycle.  He enjoyed attending and competing in Drag Strip Races.  He had managed the Ashland County Conservation Farm for 3 years and enjoyed raising money for the farm by putting on the Haunted Woods.  He and his wife Tammy also enjoyed running the Haunted Gully Ghouls for 5 years where they raised money for 4 H; they also enjoyed having the Ashland Mud Bogg on their farm for 16 years. Toni was very mechanical often referring to himself as “Jack of all Trades Master of none”.

There will be a Celebration of Toni’s Life held Saturday, August 25, 2018 beginning at 6:00 P.M. at his daughter Tara’s home 1380 St. Rte. 603 Ashland, Ohio 44805.
