I work with Hal back in 1963 at Penney's. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Such a nice man.

Please accept our condolences in the passing of Hal. Our daughter and son-in-law and sons lived next door to Hal for many years. He was a part of our grandsons' growing up and early adult years. We enjoyed talking with Hal, sharing meals, and playing cards with him at their house when we visited. We will surely miss him when we visit!

Sending our deepest condolences to Hal's family. We go back to the 50's in friendship with him and he was part of our wedding party in 1962. The path of life took us from Ashland to FL many years ago, and Hal to Columbus. So that path never crossed again. But we have great memories. Also my mom sends her condolences too, Eileen Higgins worked at J.C. Penny's with him, for many years before my parents moved to FL. Rest in peace, Hal, one day we will meet again.
