Bonnie was the sweetest kindest friend to me! We were in Sunday School at EUB church when we were very young and the friendship continued through our lives. I loved that she kept me up on Ashland news with her delightful letters and clippings. Her son, Joey is also a wonderful friend and I send my love and condolences and prayers to him.
with great sympathy,

You have my sympathy, Joey. I was your Mom's bridesmaid. I went to Hawaii with her
twice and was her friend until she got married. We had a lot of fun at Fairs, traveling, being
in each others home, etc. Her parents were nice to me and had a basset hound. She was in our home and we went to movies, beauty shows, etc. She owned Empress Beauty Salon with Carol and Jim Shilling and I worked for them. She left and moved to Hawaii and later married Joe. He was such a fine guy and could sing beautifully. Nice parents for you. You were blessed. God be with you! Shirley Slater
