Armidt Richter

Armidt Richter, age 86, of Ashland, passed away on Wednesday October 26, 2022 at the UH Parma Medical Center.

Born in Koenigstreu, Kreiss Mogilno, Germany on May 11, 1936, the son of Adolf and Helene Richter, he immigrated to the United States in 1956 from Lauenburg/Elbe, Germany. Mr. Richter was an employee of FE Myers/ Pentair until his retirement. He enjoyed time with family and friends. He loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church. He was a devoted attendee of the New Life Community Church. He contributed and supported many missions throughout his life. He touched many lives with his generosity and humor.

On December 4, 1971, Armidt was married to Anita L. Romond who survives.

In addition to his wife Anita, Mr. Richter is survived by two children; Samuel Richter of Ashland and Judith Kielby of Phoenix, Arizona. One brother, Arthur Richter of Ashland also survives.

Mr. Richter is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Edith Spiegel and Adele Sawatzki.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 2, 2022 at the New Life Community Church, 1489 State Route 511 South, Ashland, Ohio 44805. at 11:00 am with Pastor Dave McNeely officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am till 11:00 am prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
