Barbara A. (Kerr) Kirkbride

Barbara A. Kirkbride age 89 of Mansfield, passes away at Wedgewood Estates on March 1, 2026.

Born in Ashland, Ohio on March 14, 1936 the daughter of Thomas and Glova (Bell) Kerr she was a resident of Ashland county most of her life.

She was a homemaker who loved animals and spending time with her family and gardening. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and attended both Nankin and Polk schools.

On September 8, 1957she was married to Virgne “Gene” Kirkbride who preceded her in death on January 16, 1994

Surviving are two children: Mitchell (Carol) Kirkbride and Sandra (Gary) Wagers. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Bryan Kirkbride, Gary Wagers Jr., Bradley (Sheri) Kirkbride and Geoffery Wagers. Two sisters in law also survive, Margret “Peggy” Kerr, wife of John Kerr and Irene Kerr, wife of George Kerr

In addition to her husband, Virgne she is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Thomas (Leona) Kerr, John“Jack” Kerr, Harriet (Harold) Loesch, Lawrence “Deke” (Ann) Kerr, Mary Kerr, Sarah (Earl) Webb, George Kerr and infant brother, David Kerr.

In keeping with the families wishes there will be a private service held.
