Beverly R Adkins

Beverly R. Adkins age 90 of Ashland, passed away at her residence on Thursday January 2, 2020
She was born in Mansfield the daughter of John and Beulah (Frontz) Brewer. Mrs. Adkins enjoyed attending the Ashland Christian Church and considered them to be part of her extended family. She also enjoyed spending time with her special best friends, Marilyn and Larry Messmore. She enjoyed spending time with Abbie her white kitty and companion and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports, travelling on fishing trips to the Outer banks, Michigan, Canada and Lake Erie.
She was employed at Archway Cookies for 34 years before she retired and was known as "Mother Bev".
In 1947 Beverly was married to Maxie Adkins who preceded her in death in 1982.
Surviving is one son and daughter in law, Terry (Marry) Adkins of Ashland; two grandsons and their wives, Toby (Mary) Adkins and Eric (Vicki) Adkins of Port Clinton Ohio; three great grandchildren also survive, Tanner (Kenzie) Adkins of Nebraska, Reece Adkins of Ashland and Finn Adkins of Port Clinton; one brother and sister in law also survive, Donald (Betty) Brewer of Mansfield.
In addition to her husband Maxie, Mrs. Adkins is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill Brewer and John Brewer and one sister Margaret Felton.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday January 7, 2020 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at the funeral home.
