Caley Marie Koppler

Caley Marie Koppler, age 23, of Ashland, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 8, 2023. She was born May 20, 2000 in Wooster, the daughter of Ryan Koppler and Lauralee (Ginty) Koppler. Caley had been a lifelong resident of Ashland. She was a 2018 graduate of Ashland High School and later received her Certified Medical Assistant Certification from Ross Medical Education Center. She was employed with Sunshine Homecare and had previously worked at Urgent Care. Caley enjoyed spending time at the beach, going to concerts, and especially spending time with her friends where she was always the life of the party.

Survivors include her father, Ryan (Gina) Koppler of Ashland; her mother, Lauralee Koppler of Ashland; half sister, Ayla Frazee; step sister, Raquel Copley; her grandparents, Ron and Pam Koppler, John Ginty and Luann Patznick; a step niece, Belyse Crook; along with many aunts and uncles.

Caley was preceded in death by her great grandparents and her beloved dog, Bear.

Funeral services will be held at Heyl Funeral Home on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Chris Rufener and Pastor Jared Smeltzer officiating. Burial will follow at the Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville. Friends may visit with the family on Friday September 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
