Charles Ferraro Obituary

Charles Ferraro, 76 of Ashland passed away suddenly Thursday Nov. 8th 2018 from just discovered Acute Leukemia while holding the hand of his loving wife and family by his side at University Hospital Seidmans Cancer center in Cleveland. Charlie was born on July 29, 1942 in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
He was an avid Steelers, Penn State, and pirates fan. He loved fishing with his granddaughter and watching his grandchildren play softball and baseball while yelling at them and the umpires from bleachers. He was a strong minded and big hearted man, who loved his family and always put himself last and anyone in need first. He was a member of Ashland Elks 1360 and retired from Liqui-Box.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Patricia Ferraro, daughter Dominique Ferraro and her husband Brandon Reymer, son Anthony Ferraro, son Shannon Rieck, son Charlie Ferraro, daughter Kim Gibson, daughter Amy Caudill, grandchildren Brandilyn Reymer, Braeden Reymer, Brentley Reymer, Devin Roberts, Owen Gibson, Chandra Rieck, Blake Rieck, Kaitlin Gibson, Michaella Caudill, Corey Caudill, Junior Rieck, and Shad Rieck. Siblings: Cynthia Kightlinger, Linda Wilson, Kay Ferraro, Marie Stewart, Patty Priver, Harold Ferraro, John Ferraro, Mark Ferraro, Daniel Ferraro, and Gary Ferraro he also had numerous brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and great grandchildren all whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his loving brother Bomber Ferraro, mother Martha Brieler, Mother Shirley Ferraro, Father Dominic Ferraro and Grandson Travis Ferraro.
Charlie will be cremated and his remains placed in a Pittsburgh Steelers urn with a private farewell per his request which was “I don’t want no funeral, and no calling hours if they didn’t want to see me when I was alive why make them come because I’m dead”.

Charlie’s family would like to thank the staff of the University Hospital Seidmans Cancer Center for their wonderful care and help during his stay there.
