Christine M. Workman age 69 of Ashland, passed away peacefully at her residence on February 8, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on June 30, 1955, the daughter of Joseph J. and Kathleen F. (Maloney) Gallo Sr. She had been a resident of Ashland since 1991. Christine was employed as a Registered Nurse with OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital before her retirement. Christine loved her dogs Riley, Einstein and grand dog, Leo. She loved cooking and made the best chocolate chip cookies “in the world”.
On October 26,1991 she was married to Timothy Workman who survives.
In addition to her husband Timothy, she is also survived by two children; Tyler (Bayleigh Allen) Workman of Ashland and Tara Workman also of Ashland. She is also survived by her siblings; Kathy (Stan) Hackler of Murphy, North Carolina, Corky (Joanne) Gallo of Atlanta, Georgia, F. Thomas Gallo of Greenville, Tennessee, Richard (Renee) Gallo of Lake Worth, Florida, Joan T. (Lamar) Adcox of Bulls Gap, Tennesee, Donald (Lisa) Gallo of Edgewater, Florida and Lisa (Billy) Bascino of Augusta, Georgia. She is also survived by in laws; Connie Workman of Perrysville, Vinton Workman of Ashland and Renold Workman of Ashland. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Christine is preceded in death by her parents.
In keeping with her wishes a celebration of Christine’s life will be held at a later date in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
