Clarence K. Smith Sr.

Clarence K. Smith Sr. age 76 of Greenwich, passed away on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at Fisher Titus Hospital in Norwalk.

Born on August 14, 1946 in Ashland, the son of Carl and Mary (Miller) Smith he was a resident of Ashland County most of his life.

Mr. Smith had been a Machinist with the Whirlorway Company before his retirement

On April 10., 1971 Clarence was married to Judy A. Leibolt who survives.

In addition to his wife Judy, Clarence is survived by three sons and three daughters; Clarence Smith Jr. of Ashland, John Smith Sr. of Ashland, Shane (Belinda) Smith of Sullivan, Jani (Curtis) Sword of Nova, Lenora Smith of Greenwich and Casie Smith of Ashland.

He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Janice Spade.

Clarence enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

A celebration of Clarence’s life will be held at the Heyl Funeral Home on Saturday April 22, 2023 at 11:00 am. Friends may visiting with the family on Saturday April 22, 2023 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am.
