Obituary
Dale F. (Grizz) Hershey age 75 of Ashland, died Friday June 2, 2023 at his residence.
Born on March 27, 1948 in Columbia Station, Ohio the son of Donald and Doris (Klaas) Hershey. Upon moving to Ashland, Mr. Hershey was employed by various Trucking Companies. He was a graduate of the Columbia Station High School and served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Mr. Hershey was an avid fisherman who entered many bass tournaments with his friends known as “Team Grizzly”.
Mr. Hershey was married to Anne (Long) Hershey who survives.
In addition to his wife Anne, he is also survived by his mother Doris Hershey and four children; Christopher Hershey of Cleveland, Dawn (Steve) Hershey of Cleveland, Chet (Heather) Hershey of Ashland and Charlie (Tammy) Fetters of Ashland. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Mr. Hershey is also survived by five siblings; Don (Barb) Hershey, Debbie (Ken) Zapptior, David Hershey, Dwayne Hershey and Dan (Kelly) Hershey.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 8, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Heyl Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday June 8, 2023 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
