Delbert L. McArdle age 69 of Polk, passed away at his residence on April 19, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Born in Orleans, France on February 14, 1956 the son of Curtis and Charlotte (Peterson) McArdle, he had been a resident of Ashland county since 1969. Delbert had been employed as a Brick Layer with Brick Layers Union Local #40 before his retirement and a proud member of the Bricklayers Union for 50 years. Delbert enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and fishing.
On February 14, 1979 Delbert was married to Joyce Reuer who survives.
In addition to his wife Joyce, he is also survived by three daughters; Nicole McQuate of Ashland, Natlie (Adam) Pry of Ashland and Britni (Scott) Hall of Ashland. Seven grandchildren also survive; Bronson, Kallen, Dylan, Kaylee, Leif, Julia and Jared. Delbert is also survived by five brothers; Carl McArdle, Bill McArdle, Curtis McArdle, Ken McArdle and Larry McArdle.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with Delbert’s wishes there will be no local services held. There will be a private family gathering held at a later date.
