Dennis Bartley Obituary

Dennis R. Bartley age 71, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at UH Samaritan Medical Center. He was born in Ashland on January 25, 1950, the son of the late Francis W. and Marjorie (Kline) Bartley. Dennis had been a life long resident of Ashland and a graduate of Ashland High School. He had been a long haul truck driver for many years before becoming the owner/operator of Budget Manufacturing for 20 years. He was a member of Paradise Hill United Methodist Church. Dennis enjoyed playing cards, traveling, spending time with his family and was an avid watcher of Hogan's Heroes.

On October 4, 1980 Dennis married Lodena (Bower) Bartley who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Ray (Melanie) Gantz of Ashland, Sean Bartley of Ashland; his daughter, Amber Bartley of Ashland; his grandchildren, Dylan Gantz, Damon Gantz, Dakota (Anna) Gantz and Ashlee Gantz; along with his great granddaughter, Adeline Gantz.

There will be private family services. Heyl Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in Dennis’s memory to the Ashland County Cancer Association 1011 E. Main St. Suite B Ashland, Ohio 44805.
