Obituary

Donald D. Derr age 68 of Ashland, passed away on April 2, 2023 at Kingston of Ashland.

 Born in Ashland on April 25, 1954 the son of Harold and Mary Rozetta (Herman) Derr, he was a resident of Ashland and Perrysville all of his life.

 Mr. Derr had been employed at the U-Brand Corporation working in the maintenance department, as a truck driver, and also in the foundry. He was a graduating member of Loudonville High School Class of 1974 and attended Wooster Business College.

 On May 16, 1992, Donald was married to Dixie Streit who survives.

 In addition to his wife Dixie he is survived by his daughter, Deborah Derr of West Salem, Justin (Brittany) Young of Greenwich, and Jessica Hunt. Grandchildren, Noah Derr, Brianna Young, Lilly Young, Koltin Young, Daniel Renfrow, Hunter Hughes, Damian Brants, and Malachi Brants also survive. One brother and sister in law also survive, Ted (Mary) Derr.

 Donald is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and his first wife Linda Lee (Huff) Derr who preceded him in death in 1990.

 A memorial service will be held at at the Heyl Funeral Home on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Patty Neece officiating.
