Douglas A. Gaut age 61 of Ashland, passed away on Wednesday October 25, 2023.

Born in Massillon, Ohio on April 6, 1962 the son of Thomas and Nancy (Hawk) Gaut he had been a resident of Ashland since 1991_. Doug was a Tax Specialist who worked for Turbo Tax.

He was a member of the Cinnamon Lake Association Board of Directors and was very involved with Cinnamon Lake and decorating for the seasons around the lake. He also loved his dogs and spending time with his grandchildren, Erik and Rhys.

Surviving are two children; Adeline & Mike Leonard of Ashland and Bradley Gaut of Massillon. Also surviving are his two grandchildren and one brother and sister; Erik and Rhys Leonard, Kevin Gaut of Beach City and Lorene (John) Lucas of Medina.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A time of gathering will be held at the Heyl Funeral Home at a date to be announced.
