Douglas E. Magers age 79 of Ashland, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 19, 2024 at UH Samaritan Health Center.
Born on March 3, 1945 in Mansfield, Ohio the son of Ralph and Wilma (Moler) Magers he was a resident of Ashland most of his life.
Pastor Magers was the Pastor of the First Church of God in Ashland.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Magers of Ashland, children Lori Waters of Akron, Troy (Tonya) Magers of Ashland, and Traci Magers (Tim Duncan) of Ashland. Ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. His Sister Delores (Robert) Frazier, of Bailey Lakes, and his Brother Daniel (Kathy) Magers of Bellville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Douglas is preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister in law, Doyle and Pat Magers and two grandsons Preston Fowler and Brock Dylan Magers.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Ashland County Memorial Park.
