Edgar C. Early

Edgar C. Early age 59, of Hayesville, passed away unexpectedly at University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center on October 28, 2020. 

On September 7, 1990 he married Sheryal (Urban) Early who survives.  Also surviving are his children: Gabrielle Early (Jarrett), Joshua Early (Brooke), Sarah Huffman (Steve), George Huffman II (Elissa), Robert Parrish (Ashley), Michele Hoak (Jim), Edgar (Bam) Early II, Cathlita Early, and Felicia Early; his siblings, Raymond Early, Ellen Singh and Robert Early (Kimberly); as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Early Sr. and Catherine (Maleric) Early, along with a nephew, Bruce Finley.

Edgar was a sports enthusiast, most notably of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren.  Though he could be intimidating at first look with his signature bandana and daunting look, he had a great sense of humor, a steady ear when you needed to talk, and would help you whenever he could.  He was an employee at Frito Lay, Wooster for 19 years.

Funeral services will be held at Heyl Funeral Home on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Steve Seaman officiating.  Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery.  Friends may visit with family from 11:00 A.M. until the service at 1:00 on Friday at the funeral home.
