Elinor Louise Walker

Elinor L. Walker age 92 of Ashland, passed away on November 29, 2020 at Wasen Rehabilitation Center. Born in Nankin, Ohio on November 17, 1928 the daughter of Ralph and Mildred (Ricker) Kline, she had been a resident of Ashland County all of her life.
Mrs. Walker was employed with the Ashland School District as a Library Aid.
She was a member of Ashland High School Class of 1946; Nankin Community Church, and was the person in charge of the Ashland Umpire's Association Payroll and Scheduling.

On July 30, 1955 Elinor was married to Charles G. Walker Jr. who precedes her in Death.

Surviving are three children, Beckie (Roger) Howman of South Carolina, Doug (Leesa) Walker of Ashland and Lisa Shade of Ashland. Eight Grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren also survive.
She is also survived by one brother, Dick Kline of Ashland and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Charles she is preceded in death by her parents, and son in law, Doug Shade.

Funeral services will be held at the Nankin Community Church on Monday December 7, 2020 at 11:00 am with Pastor Chuck Fritz and Pastor J.R. Harvey officiating. There will be no visitation held and it is asked that anyone attending the funeral service wear a mask and social distance.
