Gail A. Moore age 77 of Ashland, passed away on January 23, 2025, due to injuries after being in an automobile accident.
Born in Ashland, Ohio on September 18, 1947, the daughter of Frank and Charlotte (Donley) Howman, she had been a resident of Ashland County all of her life.
She had been employed by the City of Ashland, Division of Water until the time of her retirement. She was a graduate of Ashland High School, Class of 1965.
On March 14, 1969, Gail was married to Kenneth Moore who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law; Brian (Jennifer) Moore of Mansfield and Kevin (Nikole) Moore of Jeromesville. Seven grandchildren also survived; McKala (Ivan) Gelinek of Columbus, Ian Moore of Columbus, Sage Moore of Evansville, Indiana, Cohen Moore of Mansfield, Brooke (Jon) Moore of Independence, Zoe Farnsworth of Sandusky, and Kegan Moore of Jeromesville. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; Liam, Grant, Noa and Ty.
One sister and special friend also survived; Vickie Hamby of Ashland and Jerry Hoffman and his family.
In addition to her husband, Kenneth. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ronald Howman, Phillip Howman, sister Sharon Goines and one grandson, Derek Moore.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be a Celebration of Gail’s Life which will be held at a later date.
