Gaylord M. Coffman age 73 of Ashland, passed away on Sunday September 3,2023.
Born in Ashland on February 2, 1950 the son of William and Mable (Friend) Coffman he was a Ashland resident all of his life. Gaylord had been employed as a Machinist at Scott Industry before his retirement. Mr. Coffman enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
On April 8, 1972 Gaylord was married to Nancy Myers who survives.
In addition to his wife Nancy, he is also survived by one sister and two brothers and sisters in law; Shirley VanSyoc of LaGrange, Bob (Janet) Coffman of Ashland and Wayne (Debbie) Coffman of Norwalk.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Fred Coffman, William Coffman and one sister, Karen Roberts.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 7,2023 at 11:00 am at the Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff O'Bryan officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am till 11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Ashland County Memorial Park where the Ashland Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors.
