Glorine M (Strine) Cody

Glorine M. Cody age 95, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her residence.  She was born in Ashland County on July 9, 1925, the daughter of the late Wayne and Bessie (Shepherd) Strine.  Glorine had been a resident of Ashland most of her life. She was a 1944 graduate of Ashland High School and the Columbus Business College.  She had been employed as an Accounts Payable Manager for over 20 years.

On November 17, 1945 Glorine married Ross Cody who preceded her in death in 2016.  Survivors include her sons, William (Sandy) Cody and Craig Cody both of Ashland; her 8 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; along with her 4 great- great- grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ross, Glorine was preceded in death by her sons, Steven and Berry; 7 brothers and 1 sister.

There will be a private family graveside service at Ashland County Memorial Park.  There will be a Celebration of Life Service held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made in Glorine's memory to Hospice of North Central Ohio 1050 Dauch Dr. Ashland, Ohio 44805.
