Harold (Bud) W. Curry age 62, of Ashland, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday February 27,2020. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 23, 1957 the son of Gloria Rheese Haley and Larry Curry. He was an Ashland County resident most of his life and was a graduate of Mapleton High School. Mr. Curry had been employed as a truck driver with FAB Express and also as a self employed truck driver and doing property clean ups. He loved Farming Auctions and outdoor activities. He was a great man with a heart of gold.
Surviving are five children, Kevin Curry of Hayesville, Amber Curry of Polk, Holly (Chris) Curry, Jacob, Brittany Thompson and Christopher Thompson. He is also survived by his very special grandchildren, Allie, KC, Taylor, Chloe, Kaylee, Cayden, Jayce, Titus and Eleanor. Niece Christina (Tyson) Mapes and Erik Mapes and nephew Michael (Emily) Haley also survive.
Also surviving are two brothers, Ron (Lisa) Haley and Tony (Sharon)Hughes and sisters Bonnie Haley, Steffanie Bynum and Crystal (Jeff) Symonds.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 4,2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor's Melvin Hilton and Don Clinger officiating at the Heyl Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Red Haw Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday March 3, 2020 from 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
