Helen Rosenbluh Obituary

Helen M. Rosenbluh age 90 of Mansfield, passed away on June 4, 2024 at Primrose Retirement Community of Mansfield.

 

Born in Woodsfield, Ohio on March 20, 1934 the daughter of John and Katherine (Tagmyer) Shafer she had been a resident of Ashland and Richland counties most of her life.

 

She had been employed at Boliantz Hardware before her retirement.

 

Helen was married to Charles J. Rosenbluh who precedes her in death.

 

Surviving are three children; Donald L. Kauffman of Mansfield, Vickie (Rob) Salyers of Mansfield and Robert (Patty) Kauffman also of Mansfield. She is also survived by two step son’s; Kenneth Rosenbluh and Michael Rosenbluh both of Ashland.

 

Also surviving are five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. One brother and sister in law also survive, John (Sondra) Shafer of Mansfield.

 

In addition to her husband, Helen is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers in law; Evelyn Shafer, Doris (Ted) McFadden and Dorothy (Kenny) Smith. Two step children also precede her in death, Steven Rosenbluh and Marion (Kim) Kolp.

 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her niece, Peach and Mick Rettig for all of their help and love in caring for Helen over the last two years.

 

Funeral services will be held on June 12, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Heyl Funeral Home with Chaplin Paul O’Brien officiating. Friends may visit with the family on June 12, 2024 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Ashland Cemetery.
