James Linville Obituary

James F. Linville, 73, died Monday, February 23, 2009 at Crystal Care Center. He was born on January 27, 1936 in Orgas, West Virginia to George and Arizba (Smith) Linville. James moved to Ashland in June 2008 from the Lorain area where he was a barber and an electrician. He is a former Marine and enjoyed fishing, drawing, cutting hair and playing music.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Ed and Lucy Linville of Ashland and two daughters and sons-in-law Cindy and Dave Lucey of Niota, TN and Wanda and Gail Faught of Cleveland. He was preceded by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Services will be held at Southview Grace Brethren Church, 810 Katherine Ave., Ashland, Ohio, Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 6:00 pm with Pastor Mark Abel officiating. Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Lorain, Ohio at a later date.

The family suggests contributions be made to Heyl Funeral Home to aid the family with expenses.
