Janis L. Geren

Janis L. Geren age 83 of Ashland, passed away on April 28, 2024 at Kingston of Ashland.

Born in Ashland County on August 10, 1940 the daughter of Harold and Viola (Morrow) Geren she was a resident of Ashland all of her life.

Janis was a graduate of Hillsdale High School and served her country as a clerical clerk in the United States Army.

She loved to be outdoors, camping and fishing. She also enjoyed crafts, crochet and knitting.

Janis is survived by three nieces and their husbands; Angie and Bryon Stutz of Ashland, Barbara and Frank Cisneros of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Karen and Ted Fouk of St. Louis, Missouri.

She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

Janis is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

In keeping with Janis's wishes there will be a small family burial service.
