Jason Lee, age 80, of Ashland, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Good Shepherd Nursing and rehabilitation Center. He was born November 25, 1939 in Iowa, Kansas the son of the late Charles H. and Neva Mae (White) Collins. Jason had been a machinist for a steel mill. He was a talented artist who enjoyed drawling and sketching. He was also interested in Native American Indian history and making their jewelry.
On May 31, 1981 Jason married Mary Eisennech who survives. Also surviving are his daughters, CarrieLynn (Darrell) Tennant, Laurie (William) Nielsen, and Kimberley Williams; his son, Jycee (Tammy) Collins; step- son, Sidney (Debbie) Collins; his sister, Laurie Collins; brother, Albert Collins; half-sister, Tammy Walter; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Jason was preceded in death by his step-mother, Mildred Maycomber- Collins; sister, Linda Collins; and brother, Jerry Collins.
