Jeanette (McCormic) Grosscup

Jeanette Grosscup age 90 of Ashland, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Tuesday, October 26,2021 at her residence surrounded by family.

Born in Adario, Ohio on June 26, 1931 the daughter of David F. and Ida (Berry) McCormic.

She had been a Ashland County resident all of her life. Mrs. Grosscup had been employed at the Ashland Farm Bureau. She was also a member of the Savannah High School Class of 1949 and First Baptist Church.

On October 6, 1950, Jeanette was married to Robert Grosscup who preceded her in death on November 25, 1995.

Surviving are two daughters and one son; Sherry (Mark) Zarnstorff of Ashland, Diana (Daniel) Johnson of Ashland and John (Connie) Grosscup of Ashland. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her husband Robert, she is preceded in death by two infant daughters, Cynthia Ann and Beverly Ann; two infant sons, Samuel I. and Donald E.; three brothers and five sisters.

Friends may visit with the family at First Baptist Church on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Ashland with Pastor Matt Stollings officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Savannah Cemetery.
