Jeanie (Gaddis) Bowersock Baker

Jeanie (Bowersock) Baker age 87 of Ashland, passed away on October 29, 2022 at UH Samaritan Health Center.

Born in Ashland, Ohio on May 8, 1935 the daughter of Harry (Jake) Gaddis and Helen V. Sherk, she was a Ashland resident all of her life. She was a graduate of Ashland High School and was a 30 plus employee of the A.L. Garber Company until she retired.

Jeanie loved her family, they were the most important thing in her life. She also enjoyed camping, playing cards and reading.

Surviving are three children; Robert (Christine Rannels) Bowersock of Polk, Jeff A. (Karen) Bowersock of Nova and Carol A. (Brent) Schoonover of Jeromesville. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. One son in law, Randy Shank of Indiana also survives.

Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two daughters and one son in law, Vickie Wittman (Larry Bowen), Beckie Shank. One granddaughter Bethia Shank, three brothers and one sister also precede her in death.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 3,2022 at 12:00 pm at the Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Shank officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 10:00 am till 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Adario Cemetery.
