John J. Bevier

John J. Bevier age 75 of Nova, passed away on September 7, 2025 at Avenue at Medina.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 16, 1950 the son of Frank and Sophie (Joniak) Bevier, he grew up in Mantua and Columbia Station, Ohio before moving to Ashland County in the 1970’s. Mr. Bevier was employed as a Truck Driver before his retirement. On August 5, 1993 he was married to Janice (Parris) Bevier who preceded him in death on December 25, 2024.

John served his country in the Untied States Air Force from 1969 – 1971, he also enjoyed going to auctions and was considered the “Family Handyman”, he was also a cherished uncle to many niece and nephews.

Survivors include three step-children; Greg Turner of Florida, Jason (Lisa) Turner of Nova and Dan Turner of Ashland. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters; David (Marguerite) Bevier of Litchfield, Ohio, George(Bridgette) Bevier of Columbia Station, Ohio, Katherine Boehm of Columbia Station and Sophie Ferrel of Florida.

In addition to his wife Janice, he is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings; Frances, Beverly, Harriet and Joseph Bevier.

Private family funeral services will be held.
