Joyce K. Peffer

Joyce K. Peffer age 69 of Ashland, passed away at University Hospitals Samaritan Health Center on October 29, 2025.

Born in Ashland on July 17, 1956 the daughter of Merle and Shizu (Yokoyama) Peffer, she had been a resident of Ashland County all of her life. Before her retirement Joyce was employed at Pre Global Graphics formerly known as Beacon Graphics. She also had been employed part time in the Jewelry Department at Walmart. She was a very artistic person who loved traveling and art. She also was an avid reader of books.

Joyce is survived by her mother, Shizu of Ashland and sister, Cindy Pryor of Mansfield. Also surviving are dear nieces and nephews: Jessica Bryant, Eric (Toni) Pryor and Terry Pryor. She is also survived by two grand nephews: Lewis Bryant and Connor Pryor.

She is preceded in death by her father, Merle Peffer and one nephew Steve Pryor.

A time of visitation will be held at the Heyl Funeral Home on Monday November 3, 2025 from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm
